The 2023 State Summer Games represents SOMI's largest event since 2019 - a return to form for our biggest competition and celebration of the year! However, this year, there will be several significant changes to our competition, as CMU is undergoing major construction of the outdoor facilities and athletics grounds. 



To maximize your 2023 Summer Games experience, SOMI is offering an app for iPhone and Android users. Here you can stay up to date with schedules and events, view competition maps, and get important alerts!

Transportation to Venues
ICTC will be providing shuttle services to the bowling alley, baseball stadium, in front of the McGuirk arena and one last stop in front of the resident halls on Broomfield. If you are driving a vehicle you can park in lot 62E or 64 on the main campus. If you are attending Bocce you can park in lot 70 in front of the baseball stadium. Any other lots will be ticketed. You may also park in the Special Olympics parking lot starting on Wednesday-Friday.
Shuttle times are as follows:

  • Wednesday 3:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
  • Thursday 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
  • Friday 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.


Delegation meal times for Thursday and Friday are:

  • Breakfast 6:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.
  • Lunch 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
  • Dinner 3:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. 

Volunteer meal is 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 a.m. on Thursday and Friday. You will need a wristband to get access.
