Ties & Tennies Gala

Join us for the Special Olympics Michigan Ties and Tennies Gala at Ford Field in Detroit on October 18, 2019 to raise funds in support of our programs and athletes. The Ties and Tennies Gala is the organization's signature event held in southeast Michigan which has the largest athlete population served in all of Michigan.

This is the ninth annual Gala for Special Olympics Michigan. Be a part of a fun, sporty night of dining and dancing. Pair party chic attire with your favorite tennies and join us for an inspiring evening! Tickets are $150/individual, $300/couple or $2,000/table.

The evening will be emceed by WXYZ's Ann Marie LaFlamme, who is a passionate supporter of Special Olympics Michigan. Alongside her will be Keynote Speaker and Special Olympics Michigan Athlete, Liz Viele. 

The Special Olympics Movement can ultimately transform communities by inspiring people throughout the world to open their minds, to accept and include people with intellectual disabilities, and thereby celebrate differences among all people, in the context of the greater similarities we all share.
