Dare to Dream sets new record in fundraising!

September 22, 2021 - Byron Center, MICH. - On Monday, more than 120 golfers made dreams come true for the athletes of Special Olympics Michigan at the fourth-annual Dare to Dream golf outing at the Railside Golf Club,

In a few short hours, more than $55,000 was raised to allow the athletes of Special Olympics Michigan to compete in upcoming statewide events at no cost to them or their families. Following their 18 holes of golf, fundraisers participated in a silent auction and dinner program, hosted by Special Olympics Board Member, Julie Dragos.

This 2021 Dare to Dream golf outing was a record-setting one, with more golfers and funds raised than any previous year. The day included thirty-one foursomes and twenty-two sponsors, including presenting partner -- Lighthouse Group, Mercantile Bank of Michigan, Bouma Corporation, Miller Johnson and more than 15 other West Michigan businesses.
