Throughout our communities, Applebee's supports local charities and causes. In 2010, our restaurants across the state partnered with Special Olympics Michigan to raise funds. More than 60 Applebee's in Michigan sold paper medals to its guests and hosted three golf events, raising $53,000 for Special Olympics Michigan.

This year, in addition to sponsoring two golf outings, Applebee's will again be selling paper medals in participating restaurants. For a $5 donation to Special Olympics, guests will receive a $5 coupon off a $25 purchase valid on their next visit to Applebee's through April 17th, 2011. The promotion begins February 28th and runs through March. Please join your neighborhood Applebee's in supporting Special Olympics Michigan!

There is a limit of one $5 coupon per order, which does not apply toward purchase of gift cards, alcohol, tax or gratuity. It is not redeemable for cash or valid with any other offer or discount. The coupon expires April 17, 2011 and is only valid in participating Michigan locations.

If Applebee's raises $70,000 by March 17, 2011 then some of their managers will take the Polar Plunge in Kalamazoo on March 19, 2011!

Applebee’s is also hosting two golf outing fundraisers in late June to raise money for Special Olympics Michigan athletes. The fundraisers will be held in Grand Rapids and Novi, Mich. www.applebees.com
