Proctor & Gamble Supports Special Olympics!
On Sunday, December 27, 2009 be sure to pick up your local paper for a coupon booklet that will help Special Olympics Michigan! The Proctor and Gamble coupon booklet will provide more than 50 coupons for a total savings of about $90! P&G will give $.03 to Special Olympics for each coupon redeemed!

P&G Sponsoring Michigan Delegation to National Games!
P&G is sponsoring the Michigan Delegation to the National Games in Nebraska July 18-23, 2010. Special Olympics Michigan athletes Kolan McConiughey, Roxanne Batker, Caitlin Mack and Jared Rosebush will be featured in store materials in Spartan Stores and in Spartan ads that weekend.
Coming in next week’s eSpirit we will announce the athletes and coaches chosen for the Michigan delegation to National Games!
27th Annual Trim-A-Tree Fundraiser Warmed Hearts on a Cold Upper Peninsula Night
The 27th annual Trim-A-Tree fundraiser was held on Thursday, December 3 at the Holiday Inn in Marquette. Dr. and Mrs. Randy Folker hosted the event. The Holiday Inn Marquette has been the site of the fundraiser for many, many years. We appreciate all that they do for Special Olympics Michigan!

A Very Special Local Christmas Concert
Well known local musicians will perform original and traditional seasonal tunes at 7 p.m. on Monday, December 14. The concert will take place on the spectacular Fountain Street Church sanctuary stage, to benefit the athletes of Special Olympics Michigan. Special Olympics Michigan Athletes Play an Exhibition Game At Chrysler Arena!
Special Olympics Michigan athletes got a rare treat as they took to the floor of the basketball court at Chrysler Arena in Ann Arbor on Saturday, December 5, 2009. Teams from Area 20 (southeast Washtenaw County) and Area 27 (southeast Livingston County) played an exhibition game during half time of the men’s basketball game between the University of Michigan Wolverines and Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
