Dear Detroit Lions Fan,

I'm inviting you to join me in supporting Special Olympics Michigan (SOMI). SOMI provides sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

By pledging pennies for my passing yards this season, you will be a part of my "other" team, which is for these very special athletes. The program is called Pennies-A-Yard, where donors pledge one, five, or ten pennies for every yard I gain this season. For example, in 2004 my total passing yardage was 3,258, which would make a one-penny pledge worth a $32.58 donation to SOMI. Pledges are tax deductible and all proceeds benefit SOMI.

Support the athletes of Special Olympics Michigan by pledging pennies for each of Joey Harrington's passing yards in the 2005 season.

Online Pledge Form I agree to pledge: 1¢ 5¢ 10¢ Other: for each passing yard Joey Harrington gains for the Detroit Lions during the 2005 Season.
Yards are tallied for pre-season through post-season games. In the event that Joey Harrington does not play in a game, his average yardage per game for the 2005 season will be added to the total for each game missed. All donations benefit Special Olympics Michigan. I understand that I will be billed in full after the last game is played.
