Almost everyone is feeling the pinch at the pump these days. Now you can buy raffle tickets for a chance to save money by winning a fuel efficient moped that also benefits Special Olympics Michigan athletes! 

Tickets are on sale now for a chance to win the fuel-efficient moped. Painters Supply and Equipment Co. in Taylor, Mich. is raffling off the moped on Wednesday, October 12. The moped gets up to 80 miles per gallon and includes many other eco-friendly features like the air-cooled system, envirobase paint and no carbon dioxide emissions. 

Tickets are $10 each or three for $20. You do not need to be present to win. All funds raised will benefit 20,679 children and adults with intellectual disabilities who take part in Special Olympics Michigan programs and competitions. 

"We really enjoy doing this and we look forward to raising money for Special Olympics for the third year in a row," said Linda Muzyk of Painters Supply and Equipment Co. "We expect to raise $5,000 this year."

The moped is painted with an eco-friendly, vibrant, lime green paint. The single seat moped also stands out with a detailed silver flame design. Mopeds are fuel efficient and can be used to travel short distances.
