Farmington Run for the Hills Official Website

Welcome runners, walkers, families, Teams, volunteers & sponsors to the ...3rd Annual Run for the Hills Michigan's - BIG RUN - SMALL TOWN event of the summer! 1 Week Before Crim ...This is an awesome event you don't want to miss. If you ran the race last year, we can't wait to see you back. For any newcomers, we look forward to becoming an annual on your calendar as well.

The goal of the Farmington Run for the Hills is to be a premier road race for runners & teams, a scenic course for walkers (runners can enjoy the scenery also!), an event to bring the community together and to raise money for Special Olympics Oakland County.

Same great courses as last year, tons of food, party music, and this year we're hoping to see between 750 and 1000 runners! And - for the speedy folks - $1000 of prize money to 10k winners!

Feedback we heard from last years race gives newcomers an idea of what to expect :
"Perfect event, great organization and wonderful people, incredibly well organized,
Thanks for a fun morning and a professionally run road race,
The shotgun start was thrilling, great job - A+, I had so much fun,
Thanks to everyone who worked hard to make it a success,
The one we heard the most - we'll be back next year" ... !!

or, here's a really cool teaser collection of photo's that Greg Sadler put together ...

For the record, in only two years, this event has gifted $10,000 to Special Olympics Athletes of Oakland County! In addition, each year, all the leftover pizza, brownies, bagels and any other foods are brought downtown Detroit to the COTS homeless shelter immediately after the race.

If you haven't done so already, please join our Facebook page. Great place to share comments about the race so you can help us grow the race!!
We want to be your "favorite run of the year".

See ya in August.
