The Wolverine State Victory Riders Support Special Olympics Michigan Athletes

The Wolverine State Victory Riders chapter of the Victory Motorcycle Club held their annual Li'l Sturgis event on the fourth weekend of July in Sturgis, MI. 109 Victory Motorcycle Club members from seven states and from one Canadian province attended the event.

The event organizers collaborated with the Law Enforcement Torch Run© Poker Run, which ended at the Li'l Sturgis event. Dann Walling, the Wolverine State Victory Riders event chairman, worked in conjunction with Carl White, captain at Alger Correctional Facility, to simultaneously host the two events.

The Wolverine State Victory Riders donate to charitable organizations every year, raising funds through raffles and silent auctions. This year, they chose to donate $1,500 to Special Olympics Michigan athletes.

Walling said the Wolverine State Victory Riders look forward to working with Special Olympics Michigan in the future.
