Since their inception in 1929, Real Estate One has been actively involved in Michigan communities for 83 years. Real Estate One is a proud sponsor of Special Olympic Michigan Athletes.

Special Olympics Michigan held its 2012 State Softball Finals presented by Amerisure on Saturday, July 21 at the Canton Sports Center in Canton. Real Estate One not only continues to assist Special Olympics Michigan through their generous financial support as the Statewide Gold Medal Sponsor, but also through hard work as well. Five Real Estate One representatives immersed themselves in the State Golf and Softball Finals and helped out during the competitions as ball shags.

It was the first time that Susan Lapham of Real Estate One volunteered at a Special Olympics Michigan event. "It was absolutely great to volunteer and watch the athletes compete," said Susan. When asked about her plans to volunteer next year, she replied, "I am definitely going to volunteer again next year and bring more people with me."

Pam Caputo of Real Estate One is a fourth year volunteer that absolutely enjoys the annual event. "I love to interact with the athletes and root them on," she said. Pam was sure to mention that she cherishes and learns so much from the close interaction with the athletes. "The sportsmanship just puts a smile on my face," said Pam.

Real Estate One is the largest real estate company in Michigan with more than 2,100 employees and sales associates. They were founded in 1929 and have been actively involved in Michigan communities and charities for over 75 years.

Special Olympics Michigan would like to thank Real Estate One for all its support at the 2012 State Softball Finals presented by Amerisure!
