On Monday, August 27, 2012 Forward Corporation held their 26th annual Golf Tournament to benefit Special Olympics Michigan athletes. This year, the event was held at West Branch Country Club. Not only did participants get a chance to enjoy a round of 18 holes, there were also prizes given away in addition to a raffle and auction.

"It was a wonderful, beautiful and sunny day! We had more hole sponsors than ever before, and the amount of golfers that wished to participate exceeded previous years," said Forward's Vice President of Marketing, Emily Mallory.

In addition to their Golf Tournament, Forward Corporation sells paper icons throughout their convenience stores and gas stations, which raises an average of $15,000.
Forward Corporation has been around for 87 years serving The Northeast & Thumb regions of Michigan. Forward offers a wide range of items such as, home heating services, convenience stores, hotels, restaurants, and they even print t-shirts and have soy candles!
