The seventh annual SODA Classic was a huge success despite having its date rescheduled due to rain conditions on the original date. The 18-hole, four-person scramble took place at The Pines Golf Course in Weidman, Mich. and was presented by the Special Olympics Duffers Association.

"I had a great time golfing, as well as supporting the cause," said first-time participant Becky Everitt, Executive Secretary at Special Olympics Michigan. Becky also won a trophy for winning the "closest to pin" contest on a par three. Other prizes given at the event included raffle prizes, a silent auction, as well as a 50-50 drawing.
