Special Olympics Michigan is partnering with Papa Vino's Italian Kitchen for a fundraiser that kicks off June 1, 2012 and runs the entire month of June. All six Papa Vino's Italian Kitchen locations in Michigan will participate to support Special Olympics Michigan athletes. This is the second year of the partnership.

Papa Vino's customers can purchase a gold paper medallion for $5 at any of the six participating Papa Vino's locations in Michigan. For each $5 gold medallion donation, customers will receive a coupon good for $5 off a purchase of $25 or more on their next visit. In addition, customers may purchase a $1 teal "Special Olympics Michigan Let Me Win" wristband. Customers who purchase five wristbands will receive a coupon for $5 off a purchase of $25 or more toward their next visit.

The teal wristbands say "Special Olympics Michigan" and "Let Me Win." The phrase "let me win" comes from the Special Olympics athlete oath, "Let me win. But if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt."

Icons and wristbands can be purchased at the following Papa Vino's Italian Kitchen locations in Kentwood, Northville, Pontiac, Sterling Heights, St. Joseph and Troy.
