6th Annual Highlands Golf Classic

On Friday, June 21, at The Highlands Golf Course, Special Olympics Michigan Area 11 will hold its sixth annual golf outing to raise funds for athletes in Kent and Barry counties.
Tim Doty from Fox 17 news says, "A lot of golf outings are for a cause that get a brief mention before the tee off and after the final putt drops. At the Special Olympics outing you can get up close and personal with the athletes that are aided by the event. That's what makes it special and fun. Heck, one of them might even hit it closer to the hole than you, then talk trash about it."
Participants will enjoy breakfast, lunch, contests, prizes, an awards ceremony and a silent auction. We hope to see you and your colleges out on the course! For registration materials and sponsorship information, please visit www.somi.org/Upcoming-Events/6th-Annual-Highlands-Golf-Classic.html
