STATE BASKETBALL CHAMPS DIVISION #3

Area 32 Special Olympics Basketball Team The Meteors, recently competed in a two day basketball state final event in Rockford, Michigan. The Meteors won all their games and were crowned State Champs for Division #3. The Meteors ended their season with a 10 win 2 loss record. The team has been hard at work since December 4th. The team is made up of a fine group of young men, and the Counties of Wexford and Missaukee should be proud of their accomplishment.

2011 Check from American Legion

American Legion Post #94 recently presented Area 32 Special Olympics with a very nice check as a result of their successful sponsorship of their 20th year of Golf on Ice fundraiser .

Presenting the check on behalf of Post #94 is Rich Harris. Accepting on behalf of Area 32 Special Olympics is Mike Maxwell Area Director.
